QUESTION: Are prefabricated buildings that you manufacture resistant to earthquakes or wind, can only be used in summer? Do you carry out manufacturing in any location in Turkey?
ANSWER :We carry out manufacturing our Karmod Prefabricated Houses with durability and insulation system according to any climate condition. They are resistant to earthquake intensity of 8.5 and wind. Taking into account weather conditions of place where prefabricated buildings are sent, manufacturing can be made in any province and district of Turkey.
QUESTION :What is the warranty period and service life of the prefabricated building we purchase?
ANSWER :We give minimum 2 years warranty from the facility. Material used in Karmod Prefabricated buildings is "betopan".Also, the manufacturing company TEPE BETOPAN gives 50 years warranty its product against exterior weather conditions. By making load bearing system as galvanized plated, it is made rust-proofed, rot-proof, and its service life is extended.
QUESTION :Is it required any permit during construction of prefabricated buildings?
ANSWER :Regarding the permit procedure, you need to refer to the municipality where the building is to be constructed. For obtaining permit, Architectural plan, Electrical plan, Mechanical plan, and ground survey should be met by the customer. If requested, we conduct static calculations of the building against a fee.
QUESTION :How many stories can be made in Prefabricated Buildings you produce?
ANSWER :Prefabricated Houses can be made up to 2 stories. It can be made multi-story, but due to the fact that building construction is increased, then unit m² cost will also be increased.
QUESTION :In multi-story prefabricated houses, does mezzanine make vibration?
ANSWER: Static calculations of these buildings are made in accordance with relevant standards (TS 648, TS 498, TS 11.372 etc.) and regulations. For that reason, there are permissible deflection in mezzanine. However, if our customer wouldn't like that, then comfort conditions can be increased and vibration can completely be eliminated.
QUESTION :How is ground assembly made in the installation of prefabricated houses?
ANSWER: Karmod Prefabricated houses are assembled on the ground where ready mixed concrete poured and fixed to the ground with anchorages or steel dowels.
QUESTION: Is it possible to apply any project we wish on Prefabricated Houses?
ANSWER :Any project can be applied as long as being suitable to our standard measurements.
QUESTION: How do we handle heating or cooling in Prefabricated Houses?
ANSWER :You can easily get warm with stove, air-conditioner, natural gas or electrical heater in winter, and you can cool your room with air-conditioner in summer.
QUESTION: What is your solution for cold zones?
ANSWER: HEATING (CLIMATE) CALCULATION: External Wall and Roof should be detailed in a manner providing Insulation Values recommended in TS 825 taking into account climate conditions where the building is constructed. (Heat Values provided for Karmod Prefabricated houses are suitable for all regions of Turkey) Insulation materials are also provided between post C profiles of panels. In this way, there is no thermal bridge.
QUESTION: What will be our function for prefabricated houses we purchased?
ANSWER: Concrete pouring for preventing flooding of 30 cm or 50 cm of meshed bar iron on ground concrete;
excavation and landscaping works; floor and wall coverings (screed, ceramics, floor covering, solid lamparquet, etc.) , Making external connections for prefabricated building (electrical, waste water, clean water), Permits and permissions to be obtained from the Municipality, Heating and cooling installation (Central heating, air-conditioner, etc..) For installation outside of Istanbul, accommodation and food expenses of assembly team, transportation and freight insurance will be met by our customer.
QUESTION: If assembly of prefabricated building is to be made outside of the city, then what do you require additionally?
ANSWER :The only difference between construction inside or outside of the city is the condition that covering accommodation and food expenses of assembly team.
QUESTION: Is it possible that the prefabricated building that we purchased can be installed in any other location?
ANSWER: Yes, that's possible. It only requires disassembly cost, re-installation cost, painting cost, and sanitary installation cost.
QUESTION: What is your delivery term?
ANSWER: Approximately 100m2 Single-story building will be completed and delivered between 2 days to 15 days depending on the actual production condition at that time. After delivery and receiving ground concrete, assembly of the building is completed within the next 5 days.
QUESTION: What is the payment method?
ANSWER: We can only accept in cash as a full payment. Or you can use Turkiye Finans Housing Loan. We may negotiate on alternative payment plans.
QUESTION: What is included in your prices?
ANSWER: ITEMS INCLUDED IN OUR PRICE: General assembly of the building. Building materials (Wall panels, Joint elements, ceiling covering, ceiling insulation, and roof covering materials), Exterior and Interior doors, Windows, Transoms, and Installing windows.
Making interior and exterior painting of the building, Making electric installation and fittings of the building, Making sanitary installation of the building (waste water and clean water), and installing fittings.
QUESTION: How will my prefabricated building transported?
ANSWER :Transportation of prefabricated buildings is made via truck, 18-wheeler, ship, train or cargo plane.
